 Looking for a super compact video camera that’s idea to capture such as extreme sports and outdoor pursuits without bulking you down and generally getting in the way? The SC MD80 Micro Video Camera which captures VGA resolution video directly to microSD memory cards could fit the bill perfectly.

Measuring in at an impressively compact 55 x 28 x 20mm and weighing in at just 50g, meaning it can be clipped to clothing, worn around the neck thanks to a supplied cord or even mounted onto helmets, the SC MD80 Micro Video Camera records at 640 x 480 resolution at 25 frames per second in Motion JPG file format and is billed as being capable of recording up to two hours of continuous video – 40 minutes of video recording requiring around 1GB of memory – based on a full two hour charge of its integrated battery.

The MD80 is supplied with a selection of camera mounts.

No memory card is supplied with this camera, we recommend using a 2 - 8 GB card (MicroSD)

An 8gb card will hold around 7 hours of footage.

The SC HD720 is the very latest high definition helmet camera system.

The SC HD720 is our latest helmet camera system, it combines the very latest camera technology recording at full D1 resolution, (720x576 at up to 10mb/s) with a recorder and lanc remote control for easy starting/stopping of your recording.  The camera is the Sony HQ5 bullet camera that reacts exceptionally well to changes in light yet is only 55mm long and 19mm wide. Supplied with a 3.6mm wide angle lens (this can be changed if you wish however most people find that the standard lens is the most useful). It has a microphone integrated so that you can record sound and video

The lanc remote supplied with the SC HD720 allows you to turn the unit on/off and start/stop the recording. The remote can be worn on your wrist or clipped to your clothing for easy access. It also has LED's to let you know when it is recording.

If you are planning on using the camera in a car or on a motorbike (12v cigarette adaptor is included!) it can be set to “Car Mode” which will detect that it is being powered from a vehicle and automatically start recording. This makes it useable as a black box recorder.

The battery supplied will last 2 – 3 hours and can easily be changed, to give more recording time if required. The DVR uses MicroSD cards for recording and will support up to 16GB cards.
